Star Lucy Hale sings the first song from the much-anticipated TV movie and it’s now on iTunes!
Flick summary: Katie Gibbs (Hale), an over-worked, harried and terrified of being put back in foster care 17-year-old who does her stepmother and step-siblings’ bidding without complaining.
Vocally gifted, Katie feels particularly upset when forced to lay down singing tracks so that her untalented stepsister, Bev Van Ravensway (Megan Park), can hopefully win a recording contract from Massive Records – who’s company President, Harvey Morgan, is scouting for new spectacular talent at a talent showcase for the Performing Arts Department at a prestigious private school.

I adore Lucy Hale!! I’ve been a fan of her singing prior to Pretty Little Liars and it saddens me that they had to use sooooo much autotune on her voice! Lucy has huge talent and a beautiful voice…naturally! It’s almost like people don’t trust true and real talent any more when it comes to singers…but I wish Lucy all of the success in the world!!!! :)
I agree Britt. Lucy has incredible depth and such a gorgeous sound to her voice. Why the hell did they autotune her?! So aggravating! She doesn’t need to be at all! Angers me!
