Starring Lucy Hale, Megan Park and Freddie Stroma. the new story follows Katie (Hale) who dreams of being a recording artist but is continually thwarted by her cruel stepmother (Missi Pyle) and stepsister (Park).
When Katie falls hard for Luke (Stroma), the new boy at her Performing Arts school, she tries to get his attention with her singing. But when her stepsister takes credit for Katie’s amazing voice and Luke falls for the wrong girl, Katie must learn to stand up for her dreams before her stepmother forces Katie to sing Luke into the arms of her wicked stepsister at the Winter Talent Showcase.
The DVD — out in stores on September 6th — comes with these bonus features: Spotlighting Lucy Hale: Our New Cinderella, So You Wanna Be a Dancer?, Meet Prince Charming, Flip Cam Diaries, “Bless Myself” Official Music Video, gag reel and deleted scenes.
In addition, the soundtrack will also be out that same day! The record features 4 original songs sung by Lucy and 2 more from Freddie!

Look, I love Lucy but haven’t we had enough Cinderella stories already? We got the Hilary Duff one, the Selena Gomez one, and you’re making more? seriously? How many times do we have to hear the same story?
In Selena’s movie cinderella was a dancer and in Lucy’s movie she’s a singer. SHOCKER!
First Hill Duff, the Sel Gomez, now Lucy. Come on ppl, dropt it. NO MORE CINDERELLA STORIES, why can’t you do Snow white, or the sleeping beauty?
A third one? Hmm, I love Lucy Hale don’t get me wrong! But i agree with @Sel enough is enough no? Oh well, even though I don’t really like the plot, always sounds the same with other stories, but i hope she does great! Love her!

i wasn’t thrilled about the second one but it was nice =) so i hope this one is at least as good as the second one… but come on D= the dvd cover is just awful…

Want to see this movie b/c of Lucy :) but I think it’s enough with Cinderella stories.
