OlderCody Simpson: 'US Open' Performer!
Cody Simpson will be performing at the US Open’s kick-off event, Arthur Ashe Kids’ Day on Saturday (August 27) in New York City.
The 14-year-old musician will be joined by other performers including Girls Night Out, Action Item, Jacob Latimore and The Fresh Beat Band at this year’s tennis and music event, presented by Hess.
Other celebrities expected to show include Bradley Cooper, NBA all-star Carmelo Anthony and tennis champs Rafael Nadal and Andy Roddick.
Arthur Ashe Kids’ Day honors tennis legend Arthur Ashe and his mission of using tennis as a way to instill values of humanitarianism, leadership and academic excellence in kids. A portion of the proceeds from Arthur Ashe Kids’ Day benefits the National Junior Tennis and Learning (NJTL) network.
