Josh Hutcherson gets all dirtied up as Peeta Mellark in this new still from The Hunger Games.

Based on Suzanne Collins‘ novel of the same name, the flick follows Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence), a 16-year-old living in the post-apocalyptic country of Panem. Every year, a boy and girl are chosen from each of the country’s 12 districts to fight each other to the death until only one remains.

Liam Hemsworth, Leven Rambin and Alexander Ludwig also star in the upcoming dystopian flick, out in theaters in March 2012.
