OlderTaylor Lautner: Cirque du Soleil with Gus Van Sant!
Taylor Lautner and director Gus Van Sant get smushed together by the cast of Cirque du Soleil‘s IRIS at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood on Saturday evening (August 13).
The 19-year-old Abduction star and director enjoyed the new show which is a lyrical, fanciful, kinetic foray through the world of cinema bringing together dance, acrobatics, live video, and filmed sequences through the history of cinema and its genres.
Speaking of Abduction, Taylor will be heading Down Under to promote the movie next week! Red carpet premieres will happen in Melbourne on August 21 and Sydney on August 23.
FYI: Taylor attended the show with director Gus Van Sant. Looks like these two definitely have a film project in the works!

they were guests of Danny Elfman who wrote the music for Iris and did the music for van sants Good Will Hunting, and Milk. van sant is supposed to be working on a screenplay for Green Days American Idiot

I sure would like to know why he is with this guy. On April 13, 2011, the American Idiot film was confirmed. Michael Mayer, director of the Broadway musical, will be directing the film.
