Pixie Lott and Greg James show off the cool trophy for BBC Radio 1′s upcoming Teen Awards at Yalding House in London on Tuesday morning (August 16).
The 20-year-old “All About Tonight” singer has a huge involvement in the award show which celebrate remarkable and inspirational teenagers alongside stars from the music and entertainment world.
Pixie won’t only be performing at the show, but she’ll also sit on the judging panel selecting three Teen Heroes, chosen from nominations put forward by Radio 1′s listeners.
“I presented an award at the first Teen Awards last year and was moved by the stories I heard of some truly outstanding young people. I’m thrilled to be not just performing at this year’s event but also getting involved in selecting this year’s Teen Heroes,” Pixie shared in a statement.
The Teen Awards 2011 will take place at London’s Wembley Arena on Sunday, October 9th. The event is open to 14 to 17-year-olds and tickets will be given away free to Radio 1 listeners.
