“As in the original Footloose, the trademark red cowboy boots worn by Julianne’s character, Ariel, are obviously the catalyst for her entire wardrobe, from her denim minis to her white eyelet skirts and cutoff jean shorts. So, for September, our big fashion issue in which we cover all the major trends of the season, I thought we’d turn things upside down and work fall’s big messages around the shoes. Not just any shoes, either: These are the Big Five that I think every woman should have right now,” Joe writes.
