Vanessa Hudgens hides her new chopped locks underneath a beanie as she heads to a barbeque on Saturday (August 20) in Sherman Oaks, Calif.
Joined by BFF Laura New, the duo joined a group of friends for the summertime ritual.
Vanessa was also spotted heading to a car wash with a guy pal after lunching in Studio City on Sunday (August 21).
Van recently wrote a new post on her Journey 2: The Mysterious Island costar Luis Guzman on her official site.
“Awwwww Luis! Journey 2 was so much fun to film, but one of the highlights was working with Luis Guzman. An incredible actor and such a sweetie,” she wrote.
FYI: Van wore Blu Moon‘s Kimono Jacket and fave Summer Lovin’ Maxi Dress.

Secretly what? dating? Josh and Vanessa? Hahahahaha. I don’t think so. They didn’t see eachother for almost 2 months now. i mean come on! If they were dating, and Gina, stella and vanessa herself shot down that rumor, she wouldn’t stay in LA and not spend time with her new bf. Nobody would do that. They are just great friends, what is great for them. The media wanted to start something and I don’t think they hated the attention and free publisity either.

No Josh and Vanessa aren’t dating, and were never dating they were just friends. Just a theory but it wouldn’t surprise me if they stopped hanging out together because of all the heat they took from people. Don’t think that didn’t go unoticed by them as Stella on her twitter had to defend Josh because of all that. In fact I’m still waiting for some people on here to apologize for what they said about them cause they thought they were dating, one person in particular. Although I’m not holding my breath.
Oh and no I don’t know who the guy is here with V, more then likley just a friend.
