On maintaining a healthy body image: “A lot of times it has to do with what you wear and how you wear it. You really have to find something that fits your body right and suits you.”

On when she first fell in love with music: “So long ago! My parents told me that when I was a baby I’d mumble the lyrics to “You Are Not Alone” by Michael Jackson a lot. Music was something I grew up with. I’d go crazy without it.”

On artists she’s like to work with: “I’d love to work with Alicia Keys. She’s been my idol ever since I was little. If I ever see her I’ll be like, “Oh my God.” I’d also love to work with Rihanna, because music-wise I see myself as like a baby Rihanna­—only toned down a bit.”
