Katie Leclerc will be guesting on CBS’ Big Bang Theory, EW reports.

The 24-year-old Switched at Birth starlet will star as Emily, a friend of Penny’s (Kaley Cuoco) who is deaf, and just may be a a perfect match for Raj (Kunal Nayyar) — who is just a little bit shy when it comes to girls.

Katie‘s episode will air Thursday, October 6th @ 8PM ET/PT.

Switched at Birth is expected to return early 2012 on ABC Family.
