Lauren Conrad: Fashion's Night Out at The Grove

Lauren Conrad signs autographs for fans as she attends Fashion’s Night Out with Paper Crown held at Nordstrom at the Grove in Los Angeles on Thursday night (September 8) .

The 25-year-old designer’s new line, Paper Crown, just hit select stores and she talked to ELLE mag about the debut.

“The story of Paper Crown came from when I use to visit my grandmother. We would always want to play dress up, but she didn’t have my dress up trunk there. So, we would cut things out of paper and make crowns and that was our own way of dressing up,” she says of the namesake.

Lauren added about the feel and look of the new collection, “With Paper Crown, our palette is always going to be much softer and more romantic then most of the other colors out there. You want to incorporate new trends, but still stay true to the brand you’ve created.”
