Leighton Meester shields herself from the rain with a colorful umbrella in New York City on Tuesday afternoon (September 6).

The 25-year-old Gossip Girl actress recently spoke with the Vancouver Sun about becoming the face of Vera Wang‘s Lovestruck and the friendship between the two of them.

Leighton shared, “I saw her across the aisle during a big fashion show. I looked at her and was like – it’s Vera Wang! And she pointed at me and said she wanted to talk to me. ‘Who, me?’ I got to do a fitting with Vera Wang in the studio. She made it just for me. A princess dream moment.”
