Saoirse Ronan: 'I'd Love To Do A Rom-Com'

Saoirse Ronan is all smiles as she arrives at Pearson International Airport in Toronto on Wednesday afternoon (September 14).

The 17-year-old actress is in town to premiere her new film, Violet and Daisy, at the 2011 Toronto International Film Festival.

Saoirse recently spoke with The Belfast Telegraph on the types of movies she usually works on and the types she definitely wants to conquer.

“I actually don’t have a problem doing comedy or a rom com, I’d love to do that kind of stuff. It’s just been the way it’s worked out so far. If a romantic comedy of something like that came along tomorrow and it was a good script and had good characters I’d definitely do it,” Saoirse shared.
