Debby Ryan has us seeing stripes in this outtake from the October 2011 issue of American Cheerleader magazine.

The 18-year-old actress dished to the mag about her respect for the sport of cheerleading and how she even started a home-school cheer group in Germany!

“I was the only one who could do the spies and back handspring, so they made me the [top girl], which was funny because I had freakishly long legs,” Debby shared. “We’d Google cheers and I kind of led the whole thing. I was captivated by it all and liked how precise it is and how much strength it requires.”

“Cheerleading is what I love about females — not that it’s just strictly a female sport — women have more of a reserved strength. I feel like cheerleading definitely embodies that,” she added.
