In a new interview with the NY Times, Emma, 21, opens up about the traditions she missed out on during high school.
“Oh my goodness, so many firsts. I did the prom! We all get dressed up and we go in a limo, and get photographs. It’s been really fun for me to get to graduate. Eating in the school canteen; all these things that I’ve always sort of said to my American friends, ‘Oh, that looks amazing, that looks so fun, I’m jealous.’ And I get to do it for this movie,” Emma shared.
The Perks of Being A Wallflower debuts in theaters next year.

Emma, Ezra, Nina and Logan are the perfect people to be in this movie, I know they did a great job. Even though I think the movie and the book is not exactly alike, I still think I will love it.
