Starring Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth, Josh Hutcherson and Leven Rambin, the film adaption centers on Katniss Everdeen (Lawrence), a young woman who must survive a televised fight to the death between her and teenagers from other the other districts of Panem.

The Hunger Games are a nationally televised event in which “Tributes” must fight with one another until one survivor remains.
