Leven Rambin hangs onto costar Gerard Butler as they film new scenes for Men of Mavericks in Santa Monica, Calif., on Friday afternoon (October 14).
The 20-year-old actress plays a California surfer girl in the movie — the object of Jay Moriarty (Jonny Weston) heart and his best friend, Variety reports.
Based on the true story of Jay Moriarty’s rise to the forefront of big wave surfing, he sought to ride the iconic Northern California break known as Mavericks, where winter swells bring in treacherous waves the size of five-story buildings.
