Anna Kendrick is definitely the lady in red in Zooey magazine’s October/November 2011 issue.

The 26-year-old actress dished to the mag about loving being described as ‘cute’ in interviews and on the red carpet.

“I guess that’s just what you call girls when you’re trying to complement them but they’re really short. I don’t think striking comes to mind when you meet me. I’m perfectly happy with ‘cute.’ I’m not going to be like ‘what the h*** guys! I’m a woman!’ I don’t care, it’s nice,” Anna shared.

She also opened up about what she really goes for when looking for her next role. “I’m most excited when a character is honest and makes me personally uncomfortable,” she says.

“Especially when they admit their weakness. I like feeling uncomfortable and weak in a role because it seems more real. I get bored quickly, but I enjoy the role at the time. I don’t want to relive the same type of characters.” Each movie seems like, ‘chapters in my life.’”
