The 19-year-old actor stars as D’Artagnan in The Three Musketeers, out THIS WEEKEND.

Logan had a chance to chat with NBC Chicago about his rigorous training for the role.

He shared, “I just remember nodding my head [during and after a conversation with director Paul W.S. Anderson] and as I was leaving with my Nick, who’s my trainer and taught me everything. As we were leaving, walking through the front gates of his house I just looked at my friend with a smile and through my teeth saying, ‘I don’t know how the h*** I’m going to do this.’”

“[I was] working out, like, six hours a day, every day, in L.A. for, like, two months before we got to Germany, where we trained for a month and a half. Then the whole time – for four or five months – I was training every day. We made it work, and I ended up becoming comfortable with the sword and I really wasn’t expecting to even to even pull through and I did. It ended up working out very well.”
