Leighton Meester's Ultimate Fashion Tip: 'Make It Your Own'

Leighton Meester is beautiful in blue as she films scenes for Gossip Girl on Madison Avenue in New York City on Monday morning (October 24).

The 25-year-old actress recently chatted with Look magazine (via MSN UK) about her personal fashion tips.

“My biggest fashion tip is to take something really basic and make it your own,” Leighton dished. “You could be wearing jeans and a T-shirt, but if you add heels that are your style, they completely change your outfit. It’s the same with a little black dress – if you add an awesome necklace or a headscarf or a bag that makes it special.”

The book that she’s holding is “Glass Castle” by Jeannette Walls. It’s my favorite book! So good to know that Leighton is reading the same book! Leighton is astonishing, I adore her!
