Abigail Breslin: Lucky Shops Lady

Abigail Breslin hits up the 2011 Lucky Shops VIP Charity shopping party held at the Highline Stages on Friday night (November 4) in New York City.

The Lucky Shops event featured over 40 designers and retailers from fashion icons and cult favorites. Lucky’s team of experts carefully edited and selected their favorite fashions, handbags, shoes, and jewelry with items selling at up to 70% off retail. Shoppers also enjoyed refreshments, giveaways and much more.

Abigail, 15, recently chatted with ELLEgirl about the interesting way she comes up with song titles — nail polish!

“I write all the songs with my friend Cassidy and we both play [guitar] and sing. We actually come up with song titles from nail polish bottles, which could sounds strange,” she shared. “But, we go to OPI.com and we look up nail polishes and if they have a good title, we use the titles. There’s a nail polish with an amazing name and I really want to you use. I’ve been trying since February, literally, and I can’t get a song out!”

Even Joey King’s latest tweets are about nails and polish. Nails are a big deal. So no, it does not seem strange using nail polish bottles to inspire good titles, just as it did not seem strange that the swirls left on the floor of the Gibson guitar factory (after 55-gallon drums of lacquer spilled during the Nashville Flood of May 2010), inspired the awesome swirl finish on Gibson’s new computerized wonder, the Firebird-X.

And AB sure fronts well for Gibson.
