OlderSammi Hanratty: 'The Greening of Whitney Brown' Premiere
Sammi Hanratty struts her stuff at the red carpet premiere of The Greening of Whitney Brown held at the AMC Loews Lincoln Square Theater in New York City on Monday night (November 7).
The 16-year-old actress, in BCBG and Steve Madden heels, stars as the title character in the flick, which hits select theaters on November 11th.

Sammi will be going to Peru this December with Smile Train. She’ll get to experience the ongoing problem facing millions of children who are suffering with un-repaired clefts palates.
During her trip, Sammi will also visit patients homes and visit the hospitals to see the life changing surgeries take place.

@cady: Oh come on. Sammi Hanratty is a darling sweetie with tons of class. Even the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show is on mainstream TV and during family viewing hours.
It’s her shoes that create the illusion and give her the longer looking legs, that takes our breath away.
Why not be happy for her success and how she inspires her fans?

She can be wonderful and inspirational with a slightly longer dress. I imagine Brooke Shields was leaning over and whispering, “careful with your knees darling, one wrong move and you’ll be the youngest crotch-shotter.” That may be so about the VS Fashion Show, but Sammi is only sixteen.
@cady: Please, I really don’t mean to argue like some venal troll, but that is simply not true! Brooke Shields shows everything in Pretty Baby and in Blue Lagoon. Brooke Shields would be a hypocrite to suggest any such thing. Sammi Hanratty is modestly dressed and it is entirely appropriate to the occasion. She looks gorgeous.
@cady, I live near a high school, and I see kids dressed a lot sexier, we are in the 2010′s now, expect fashion to change as standards change. I think its a nice classy minidress, and compared to some of what I have seen, totally fine.
