According to Business Insider, where the pic surfaced, the upcoming film adaption cost around $80 million to make and is Lionsgate’s most expensive film ever!
The movie, based on the best-selling trilogy by Suzanne Collins, center around a bow-wielding heroine named Katniss Everdeen (Lawrence). Katniss must survive a televised contest in a post-apocalyptic America in which children play a deadly game of Last Man Standing.
Lions Gate’s head, Jon Feltheime told Bloomberg Markets magazine that The Hunger Games needs to hit $100 million to justify sequels, and added, “I’m not too concerned we won’t get to that kind of number. We would be disappointed if we didn’t make three or four movies.”

@ashley: Not really. The Hunger Games is set to release on 3/23, so there’s NO way it’ll screen with those movies.
