Elle Fanning: Children At Heart Gala Girl

Elle Fanning is pretty in pink as she arrives at the 2011 Children At Heart Gala held at the Chelsea Piers on Monday night (November 21) in New York City.

The 13-year-old actress and her sister Dakota were honored with the Children of The World Award for their continuing support.

Hosted by Children of Chernobyl, honorees also included Kirk Douglas, who was presented with the Children At Heart Award by son, Michael.

The gala marks the 25th anniversary of the Chernobyl disaster. To date, CCOC has rescued 2,783 children on 95 rescue missions, airlifting them from Chernobyl to Israel to escape the contaminated living conditions caused by the 1986 Chernobyl Nuclear Reactor explosion.
