On growing up in the spotlight: “Do I really want to grow up in front of a whole bunch of people? And my answer was yes. I was given this gift for a reason, that’s my job.”

On creating a bad reputation for herself: “I’m a goodie-two-shoes anyway so I never have to worry about it.”

On being a normal teen: “School comes first, then work [which] I’ve made a part of my life and it’s also what I love to do; and I realize that I am still a kid and I do need my time to do regular teenage stuff.”
