Taylor Swift: Nashville Symphony's Harmony Award Recipient!

Taylor Swift shows off her crystal Harmony Award as she attends the 2011 Nashville Symphony Ball held at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center on Saturday night (December 10) in Nashville, Tenn.

The 21-year-old musician was honored with the Nashville Symphony’s prestigious Harmony Award, recognizing her for exemplifying the unique harmony between the many worlds of music that exist in Nashville, and her significant contributions to the development and appreciation of musical culture.

Nashville Symphony CEO and President Alan Valentine shared in a statement, “From classical to country to pop, a wide variety of genres of music thrive in Nashville, and [Taylor] Swift embodies the all-encompassing spirit that makes our city such a uniquely special place.”
