Zac Efron: 'Dream Come True' Working with Michelle Pfeiffer

Zac Efron tries to keep dry as he arrives at LAX airport to catch a flight in Los Angeles on Monday afternoon (December 12).

The 24-year-old New Year’s Eve actor caught up with MTV to chat about his costar Michelle Pfeiffer.

“I remember the first time I met her was on Hairspray, and she’s Michelle Pfeiffer�”she had that aura, star aura�”so I was always very nervous around her. We never really got the chance to connect on that movie,” Zac shared.

He continued his story, “I got a voicemail from her, and she said, ‘Look, I would love to do this if you want to do it, and I want to take it to the next level.’ And I’m like, ‘I’m in 1,000 percent, and I love you so much, thank you so much for that phone call. I can’t wait, let’s do it!’ And here we are. It was a dream come true.”
