David Archuleta puts his head in his hands as he grieves the loss of a close friend in his new video for “Wait.”
The track is featured on the 21-year-old musician’s Asian Tour Edition of his newest album, The Other Side of Down.

David just wrapped up his My Kind of Christmas tour and tweeted of a bit of a trouble getting back home for the holidays.
“Stuck in the mountains on the bus because of a snowstorm. Missed my flight, so I guess a new adventure will begin haha. On a side note, the band and some crew who took a shuttle might still make their flights. Some awesome mountains around here too,” he posted.

Lots of close ups of David in the video so I like it! Would love it if Justjared would ask David what it is about because I’m a bit confused. The Crush video was so much easier to understand lol!

Love the song and video. Abstract and thought provoking. And David looks amazing. He’ maturing into quite a handsome young man.
I’m not sure how you translate that he’s grieving the “loss of a close friend” in the vid, but it certainly expresses the deep emotion of losing someone you love. I love that David is producing quality music, with a quality message, and videos that make you think and feel something deep, without being offensive or inappropriate. This video is the most abstract one he’s done to date, and I think it just shows his growth as an artist, musician and person.
I loved this song the first time I heard it from David’s TOSOD Asian edition. Love the video…and of course David looks gorgeous! And the guy can SING!!!! Like WOW! I just saw David touring on his Christmas tour…and he just AMAZING on stage!
I love the video…and love David! And this song! WOW – loved it the first time I heard it…wished it could be released as a single in the US. I recently saw David on his Christmas tour. He is AMAZINGLY talented he just blows me away when he takes the stage.
