OlderLily Collins Joins 'Evil Dead' Remake
Looks like Lily Collins is headed back to horror.
The 22-year-old actress is in final negotiations (according to Bloody Disgusting) to star in the Evil Dead remake, coming to screen on April 12, 2013.
Lily would play Mia, who heads to the cabin to detox after a recent overdose. Struggling with her new-found sobriety, “she begins acting insane, so it comes as no surprise that nobody believes her crazy claims of coyote dogs and trees attacking her!”
Taking cues from the original film, the new version follows five friends who go to a remote cabin and unleash dark forces when they read from the Necronomicon.
Lily is one busy lady — she has Mirror, Mirror debuting this summer, is currently filming The English Teacher and will start work on The Mortal Instruments hopefully soon.
