Shailene Woodley: 'I Fell In Love with The Descendents'

Earlier this week, the 20-year-old Descendents actress won the National Board of Review’s Best Supporting Actress award.

In a recent interview with Reuters, Shai opened up on how the script for The Descendents caught her eye.

“So often I read scripts that are beautified or glamorized or artistically licensed,” Shai shared. “This one was messy, and I fell in love with the realness and humanness and rawness of it.”
