Nina Dobrev lends a hand in preparing her birthday dinner on Saturday night (January 15) in Atlanta, Georgia.

The 23-year-old actress’ friends and cast mates all gathered at Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts in Atlanta for a special kind of party.

Nina, Ian Somerhalder, Steven McQueen, Candice Accola, Zach Roerig and Joseph Morgan all learned how to prepare a delicious gourmet meal from Chef instructor Dan Harrar and President of Le Cordon Bleu Atlanta Dr. Glenn Mack.

The meal included Thai Chicken Satay Kebab hors d’oeuvres, Coconut Milk and Lemongrass Steamed Thai Mussels appetizers, a Seared Salmon and Tuna Salad with Avocado, Beets and Lemon Vinaigrette salad and a warm Chocolate Lava Cake with Vanilla Ice Cream for dessert.

Le Cordon Bleu also surprised Nina with a special Vampire Diaries inspired cake made of Devil’s Food cake with raspberry jam and butter cream.
