The 18-year-old Switched at Birth actress chatted with the glossy about growing up in the industry, Bay Kennish and her best childhood memory

On Bay: “Bay struggles with guilt of not having had a more difficult life, as the girl that went home with her birth parents is deaf and has had a challenging life. It’s about nature vs. nurture, the many what ifs and what defines the person you are and become.”

On her best childhood memory: “My dad pulling me out of school to go to Universal Studios. It was a total surprise and awesome.”

On the pressures of Hollywood: “I think the pressure has been easier to deal with because I’ve been doing this for awhile. I think starting at such a young age gave me a good foundation to stand on and having a sibling in the same industry helps a lot because you have someone to lean on who is going through some of the same things you are.”
