Justin Bieber keeps his shades on as he arrives at LAX airport in Los Angeles on Friday afternoon (January 27).

The 17-year-old musician is off to France for the NRJ Awards.

Earlier this week, Justin was spotted in the lab with Cody Simpson, where there he got the scoop on the Make Believe clothing line (thanks to photographer Steven Taylor).

Cody tweeted, “chilled with the mate @justinbieber in the studio tonight. look for some great records coming. in the lab. @justinbieber’s #Believe will be incredible. & I have an incredible debut album coming also #YoungBoyClass”
