Elizabeth Olsen shades herself with a bright red parasol in this new shot from the Spring/Summer 2012 issue of Vs. magazine.

Shot by Ellen von Unwerth, the 22-year-old actress chatted about how she used to ruin family photos.

“I love playing dress-up, but by no means do I know how to model clothes,” Lizzie dished. “I was that kid that never smiled in photographs. I would make stupid faces and ruin pictures. I’ve never been the ‘pretty’ face.”

Elizabeth also admitted that she’s a sucker for romantic comedies: “I also go to every romantic comedy, even if I have to go by myself. That’s the girlie girl that lives inside of me. Yes, there is one after all. There’s a reason I watch Gone with the Wind once a year. The first time I saw The Way We Were, I cried for half an hour after it ended. I was going around hassling every one I knew to make sure they’d seen it.”
