Demi Lovato: 'Stay Strong' Trailer!

Demi Lovato: 'Stay Strong' Trailer!

Demi Lovato lets fans see inside her life in the new MTV special, Stay Strong, airing March 6th.

“I wanted to share my story but I knew it had to be honest, it had to be real,” the 19-year-old musician shared in a statement.

Demi added, “I have daily challenges but so do many kids who are struggling to feel comfortable in their own skin. If opening up and sharing my story inspires even one person to stay strong or to get the help they need, I’ve succeeded.”

The one-hour documentary begins in the Fall of 2011 as Demi prepares to face life post-rehab and embark on her first tour in recovery. Fans will travel with her as she returns home to Dallas, Texas for her first Thanksgiving with her extended family and begins her Fall tour, performing deeply personal material in front of sold-out crowds from her new album. Continuing to be in treatment, viewers will also see Demi go back for the first time to the facility she entered in October 2010 as she speaks candidly to her recovering peers about her experiences, and thanks the counselors and staff who helped her.

Stay Strong premieres Tuesday, March 6th at 10PM ET/PT on MTV.

@gabi: wow u actually believe demi’s story? the only reason she pretends to be mentally ill is to get sympathy

  • demi lovesvodka

stay fat, ugly and crazy demi

  • ego

@demi lovesvodka: Actually she’s doing this to get PUBLICITY and a career boost. Which you are just adding to. So congrats to feeding her PR machine. You just gave her free publicity you idiot :)

  • ego

@demi lovesvodka: Just curious…first you say she is faking mental illness, then you say she is crazy? lol. Make up your idiot mind already…moron.

  • Jai

Right, because it’s “impossible” that anyone could “possibly” be sincere in the world of entertainment…. (sarcasm, just in case it’s not obvious)

  • Meli

demi la amo me encnata su musica

  • Kim

It’s really a shame that she is still getting judged for coming out and admitting she battles everyday with herself.

I don’t know about you, but for most young girls, they are still finding themselves, and not completely strong enough to know how to love themselves. If you think its for publicity well then…either way Demi is spreading the truth behind what goes on in many lives. How is that bad? She is endorsing to love yourself and that is the kind of publicity we need. If you can find harm in that…then I truly feel sad at the fact that someone wants others to feel good about themselves.

She isn’t on drugs or partying, she is sick and trying to survive like most of us. Judging someone you don’t know makes you truly mental.

@ego: ur the idiot. me posting on this site gives her no publicity at all retard

  • REBARBORA

@demi lovesvodka: I think it too, I loved her before, but what is too much is too much, I’m sick of listening to the same things from her over and over again – and this lasts for a year. Oh my gosh Demi, shoot some video, do few shows, but sing or play in a movie, it doesn’t matter, but please stop with THIS SHIT!

  • Demmii

Seriously guys… Even if she’s faking or not, she might gets publicity, but she also helps people. It doesn’t matter the reason why shes doing this. People who really needs help and support are listening to her and seek help. That is the only things that matter.

  • Ian

Comments about how they must be doing it for attention are one of the reasons millions of people don’t “come out” about their mental illnesses and get help until it’s too late. Do you bully cancer patients too?

I’m not a “Lovatic”. I’d never listened to her until this album. But I can say that even as a grown man, I honestly look up to this girl. I’m sure she’d rather “sing or play in a movie” and just ignore it and move on like every other celeb who’s been in rehab, but no, instead she’s using her publicity to spread awareness and positive messages about mental illness. I can name celeb after high profile celeb who’s been in rehab for substance abuse or mental illness, but none who have been this open about it. She’s doing a lot of good.

I don’t think I’ve ever watched an MTV show in my life, to be frank, but I’ll be DVRing this one.

  • ego

@demi lovesvodka: So you mean to tell me that you didn’t just boost the views for this article up? YOu mean to tell me that your comment didn’t just add another article and something else to talk about concerning HER? Fail hard dumb ass.

  • ego

    @REBARBORA:

“I think it too, I loved her before, but what is too much is too much,”

What IS too much is too much? Is that even English? Why are all of her detractors mentally retarded?

“I’m sick of listening to the same things from her over and over again – and this lasts for a year.”

No you’re not. You’re not sick of it at all. If you were sick of it, you wouldn’t be commenting on it or giving her a publicity boost with this this comment of yours. If you were SICK of it you wouldn’t even be reading this article. As always you’re the typical contradicting moron. Next!

“Oh my gosh Demi, shoot some video, do few shows, but sing or play in a movie, it doesn’t matter, but please stop with THIS ****!”

I guess you don’t pay attention to her career then since you missed her music video, you missed her latest single, her concert she just put on, not the brightest bulb in the lamp are you babe? There’s no shame in suicide. Just saying J

  • ego

@demi lovesvodka: “ur the idiot. me posting on this site gives her no publicity at all ******”

Actually it does. Didn’t you just add five extra comments to this board? Ad a few extra site hits? that’s called PUBLIC EXPOSURE. You idiot. Kill yourself cause you’re a moron.

  • Florencia

This trailer is really emotional. I think it’s really good helping other people. And the people who comented above have no heart
