Taylor Swift gets prettied up in a blue, floral patterned Tracy Reese dress as she appears on the Tonight Show With Jay Leno at NBC Studios on Monday night (February 20) in Burbank, Calif.

“I actually wrote the song about a critic who kept giving me really bad reviews,” the 22-year-old musician shared about “Mean” which just took home two Grammy Awards.

Taylor added, “There’s nothing worse than getting a bad review. Then there’s this scathing review, which is past constructive criticism and more into ‘I hate you’ territory. Which is mean! It really got me down.”
