Carly Rae Jepsen hits the stage at Club 560 during the 2012 Virgin Fake Film Festival in Vancouver on Friday night (February 24).

The 26-year-old musician was presented with a plaque for her hit “Call Me Maybe” which went double platinum in Canada.

Carly recently chatted with the Vancouver Sun about the theme of her EP, which was intended to be a full-length album.

“I think I’m curious about love, which is the general theme of my record and which is why Valentine’s Day is so fitting,” she shared. “I think when it comes to pop I’m past the point of curiosity. I admit to a full-on obsession with it, and I think it’s getting worse, actually.”
