Vanessa Hudgens shows off her new lightened locks as she heads to the Spring Breakers set on Monday afternoon in St. Petersburg, Fla.
The 23-year-old actress went blonde for the role of Candy.
“She’s a crazy party girl,” Vanessa recently told EOnline about the role. “She’s the one I feel kind of gets everyone going and pushes everyone a little bit.”
Vanessa added, “I think at the end of the day you have to do parts that you could semi-relate to. I’m certainly not one who is going to rob a bank, but there is a part of me that loves smashing things and I get to do that.”
Costars Ashley Benson and Selena Gomez are also spotted around the set, before the trio grabbed a bite to eat at lunch.

It is a wig. I mean she is carrying one of them in a pic. That can’t be her real hair, her hair isn’t long enough to be like in the pics above. She got it cut in Paris, remember?
I like the wig, though. Glad she didn’t go blond…not that she looks horrible, she is just better as a brunette.

Haters, the reason I think it’s a wig, is the length. Over the weekend, her hair was naturally brunette and chin length. But today, it’s past her shoulders. I’m still thinking it’s a wig. I’m hoping it is. Her poor hair has been to hell and back since she chopped it off for Gimme Shelter!

well that’s kind of why i think she dyed it. she could’ve worn a wig for gimmie shelter but didn’t. I don’t see why she wouldn’t do this for this movie. im about 60% sure its dyed, 40% its a wig.

I think some is a hair piece but it is clear she has dyed her hair – Also cutting off your hair like she did for GS actually helps your hair

It’s a wig. ONE. she wouldn’t have that much regrowth and two ashley’s wearing the sweater with the schools logo on it, or what I assume is the schools logo because Vanessas tshirt says the same.

She is carrying a wig in one of the pictures above. You usually have multiple hair pieces on a movie where you wear a wig.
And that pic of the three of them on instragram is from set. V is wearing clothes she was wearing around on the set, not the clothes she wore to the set, that is probably why she is still wearing the wig. (if it is a wig, I think it is.) They are probably in one of their trailers.
