Jordin Sparks glams up for the spotlight in the brand-new trailer for Sparkle.

The 22-year-old musician portrays the title character opposite Mike Epps and the late Whitney Houston.

A remake of the 1976 film, Sparkle follows the three Williams sisters, who begin singing in their church choir in Harlem in the late 1950s and go on to become a successful girl group.

“Omgomgomgomg! Did you see the trailer???” Jordin tweeted after the premiere.
