OlderLauren Conrad: 'The Fame Game' in New Jersey
Lauren Conrad dons a flowy Heartloom dress as she attends her signing of “The Fame Game” held at Bookends Bookstore on Wednesday (April 4) in Ridgewood, New Jersey.
The 25-year-old author/designer, wearing Casadei heels, caught up with our pals at ET Canada where she dished on main character Madison.
“Madison is definitely meant to be a sharp tongued type of person that does exist in Hollywood – and there’s lots of them, but no, but I definitely wasn’t basing her on a specific person,” Lauren shared about speculation Madison was based off of Heidi Montag.

I don’t believe for one second that Madison is based on Heidi Montag. Lauren has to say that for legal reasons but we all know that she’s writing about her own life and experiences here. Doesn’t take a genius to figure that out.
