Julianne Hough shares a laugh with Octavia Spencer as they film in the bright lights of Fremont Street in Las Vegas on Wednesday night (April 4).

The 23-year-old actress plays a sheltered young woman in the flick, directed by Diablo Cody. She loses her faith after a plane crash and revels in the decadence of Las Vegas and while there, she meets an unlikely companion who helps her find herself.

Octavia, who most recently won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress, plays a card dealer who works at the same casino as costar Russell Brand and wants to help Julianne’s character in her quest for sin.
