OlderZac Efron: 'The Lucky One' Premiere in Los Angeles!
Zac Efron joins the U.S. Marine Corps on the red carpet at the premiere of The Lucky One held at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre on Monday night (April 16) in Hollywood.
The 24-year-old actor stars as Logan Thibault, a Sergeant who returns from his third tour of duty in Iraq, with the one thing he credits with keeping him alive—a photograph he found of a woman (Taylor Schilling) he doesn’t even know.

Love Zac and hope this movie does well for him but does anyone else feel that they dont look good together. I would say it was Taylor is too old but really its probably that Zac gorgeous as he is does not look old enough to be a marine back from 3 tours of duty overseas.
@shanghai: You know, I feel really bad for Taylor with all these, ‘She’s too old!’ posts. She is only 3 years older than Zac and her character has a 10 year old child. She can’t be played by a teenager!!!!
@shanghai: You do realise that marines can be as young as 18?
Yes but says 3 tours of duty so I would think in terms of someone a bit older than Zac would be more believable to me anyway. As for Taylor some people just look older than they are and some look younger. For me I think its the gorgeous Zac that is too young for this role.

Zac looks so handsome, he always dresses great, Tayor is 27 years old, she said on a interview, i can’t wait to see the movie! i am proud of him, working on his career,than just running around. good luck on his movie.
@florenc2 Zac was with 3’000 marines and their families on Sunday giving them a preview of “The Lucky One” . This post decided not to run the pics for some reason.

Zac met the Marines at Camp Pendleton to prepare for the film.
Marines his age had done 3 tours of duty overseas!
Many Marines saw the film and loved it and commented on its authenticity.
