Willow Smith and her mom Jada Pinkett Smith come out to support the premiere of the Sundance Selects documentary First Position held at NYC’s Aero Theater on Sunday (April 22) in Santa Monica, Calif.

First Position is about six young dancers preparing for a chance to enter the world of professional ballet. The young dancers at the Youth America Grand Prix, one of the world’s most prestigious ballet competitions, struggle through bloodied feet, exhaustion, and debilitating injuries in pursuit of lifelong dreams – all while navigating the drama of adolescence.

Willow, 11, is also pictured leaving her local Barnes & Noble store on Saturday (April 21) in Calabasas, Calif. Yay books!
