Carly Rae Jepsen stops to sign a few autographs outside the Sat 1 studios on Wednesday (April 25) in Berlin, Germany.

The 26-year-old musician’s hit song, “Call Me Maybe” has been certified platinum in the U.S. by the R.I.A.A., selling 1.2 million singles.

Carly Rae recently chatted with The Associated Press about the success of the tune and what’s following it.

“It would be a shame if I just released ‘Call Me Maybe’ and that was it. I feel so hungry to show all the stuff I’ve been writing for the past few years and this experience is inspiring things too!” she shared.
