Nina Dobrev - Met Ball 2012

Nina Dobrev steals the spotlight as she arrives at the 2012 Met Ball held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on Monday (May 7) in New York City.

The 23-year-old actress wore a a black & antique gold Donna Karan Atelier gown inspired by the Donna Karan devor� dress immortalized by Gwyneth Paltrow in the film Great Expectations.

Nina‘s gown has been modernized with silk chiffon & burnt out metal sequins and gold lined beads. The effortless asymmetrical drapes accentuate the beauty of the back with single layer sequin straps crisscrossing it.

“On my way to the MET BALL…can’t wait for everyone to see the dress! It’s heavy… Haha,” Nina tweeted.

Nina is also pictured waiting for a cab in Tribeca earlier today.
