Variety reports that the 23-year-old actor will star in CBGB as Cheetah Chrome from the Dead Boys, who “played a prominent role during the club’s rise.”

CBGB will also mark a reunion for Rupert with Alan Rickman, who will star as owner Hilly Kristal.

Another project coming up for Rupert: The Necessary Death of Charlie Countryman which stars Shia LaBeouf as a normal guy who falls for a woman who’s been claimed by a violent crime boss.
