Bindi Irwin: Australia Zoo Hospital Charity Event

The Irwin family accepted a check from Heritage Bank for $5000 for the hospital.

Bindi, 13, recently chatted with People Pets about life at the zoo.

“The animals here are like family,” she dished. “We had the best time just taking the film crew [for online series Growing Up Wild] around the zoo and showing off our gorgeous animals.”

Bindi adds, “It’s great to play with the animals � well, not the crocodiles! And to know that they were the same animals that dad was brought up with, it’s pretty special.”
