Liam Hemsworth: 'Empire State' Set

Liam Hemsworth arrives on the set of Empire State on Wednesday afternoon (June 6) in New Orleans, Louisiana.

The 22-year-old actor stars opposite Emma Roberts and Nikki Reed in the upcoming flick about two childhood friends who plan to rob an armored car depository, but unfortunately for them an NYPD detective is out to bust them.

“Shooting today! #EmpireState” Emma tweeted and Nikki replied, “On my way to ya!”

Earlier this morning, Liam‘s engagement to girlfriend Miley Cyrus was announced.

Btw he was smoking here, and i’ve heard some people say “it’s Mileys fault that he is smoking”…i think thats stupid. He is 22, not 16 not 18…but 22!! he knows what he is doing..anyway..

I am very happy for him and Miley! They are a lovely couple!
