Hunter Hayes snaps a pic with tour mate Carrie Underwood at the 2012 CMT Music Awards held at Bridgestone Arena on Wednesday night (June 6) in Nashville, Tenn.

The up and coming country musician was nominated for USA Weekend’s Breakthrough Video of the Year at the award show, but lost out to American Idol alum Scotty McCreery.

Hunter is hitting the road with Carrie during her Blown Away North American Tour starting this fall.
