The 26-year-old actor met up with us at Agency nightclub in Hollywood late last month and opened up about his new sitcom.
“Baby Daddy is basically a more modern version of the movie Three Men and a Baby and it’s a very heartfelt, young hip coming of age story,” Tahj shared. “There are these three young guys, in their 20s and trying to find themselves and have fun…trying to find girls (laughs). We all find a baby on our door mat and it’s up to us to raise it. We’re all pretty much idiots and don’t know how to take care of ourselves. It’s very funny, very comical…”
Since Tahj is the only one who has any experience with babies in real life (he’s an uncle to 1-year-old Cree, big sister Tia‘s son. Other big sister Tamera is also pregnant with her first child), we had to find out if any of his cast mates ran to him for baby advice on the show.
“Yes, they always come to me (laughs). It’s just because I have practice though. I love babies, always have and they’ve kind of always liked me. I don’t know why, maybe it’s because I’m a baby myself (laughs). I’m not afraid to look stupid, I guess. Babies are just a joy and it’s so much fun coming to set every day and seeing these two little girls. They get more comfortable with us every week, too.”
Baby Daddy premieres TONIGHT @ 8:30PM ET/PT on ABC Family. Watch it!
FYI: Tahj is wearing John Varvatos and Diesel clothing. 10+ pics inside…
